Step 1 — confirm the account exists
As an admin, go to Team → Users and check whether the person's email appears in the list. Users show as Active (or Deactivated) — there is no "invited/pending" status. If they're not listed, create them (see "How to add a new team member" below).
Step 2 — how new users get access
When you add a user (Team → Users → Invite User), you can let them set their own password or set one for them with the Create password option. Vergo doesn't use expiring invitation links, and there's no "resend invitation" — if a new user can't get in, use the password reset below rather than re-inviting.
Step 3 — password reset
Go to the Vergo login page at app.getvergo.com.
Click Forgot password and enter the user's email.
They'll receive a reset email from [email protected] (subject "Reset your password") — check spam if it doesn't arrive within a few minutes.
Follow the link to set a new password and log in.
Make sure they're using the exact email address on their Vergo account.
Step 4 — login spins after entering credentials
If the login spins indefinitely after correct credentials are entered (app or desktop), that's usually a profile issue on the backend. Contact support — the team can reset the user's profile to clear it.
Step 5 — repeated failures for a new hire on a reused phone number
If a new hire is reusing a phone number that belonged to a former employee, logins can fail because the number is still tied to the old account. This needs a backend user reset — contact support with the user's email and phone number.
How to add a new team member
Go to Team → Users and click Invite User.
Enter First name, Last name, Email, Phone, and Role (Employee, Project Manager, or Admin). Optionally check Create password to set one for them.
Save. There are no seat or user limits, so add as many users as you need.
Notes
Vergo doesn't use SSO — everyone signs in with their email and password.
Still can't log in?
If none of the above resolves it, contact support with the user's email, their role, and a description (and screenshot) of the error.
